Hi, my name's Tim, I'm a close friend of Dave's and I just wanted to explain a little bit about this site.

Dave Huddie came up with the idea for this site when he was recuperating at his mums house in Dorset back in June 2004.

He had just undergone high dose chemotherapy at St. Barts Hospital in London and as a result had become extremely ill. He lost a stone of muscle weight during the illness that followed the chemo, which had damaged his immune system severely.

He decided to create this personal home page to express some of his ideas and more importantly to occupy himself while he was too weak to get around and enjoy the active life that he was used to.

Like everything else he did in life, he approached the construction of this site with fierce determination, I would get phone calls from him at all hours of the day asking me for advice and pointers on making websites.

During the planning of his site Dave found out that the last batch of chemotherapy he had undergone had not worked, and that the tumours that he had were growing extremely fast.

He wanted this site to be something that people could look at and get an idea of who he was as a person.

Dave died on the 4th July 2004.
